RECENT WORK

We aren’t your average electrician - we’ve taken care of the electrics for dream kitchens and, equally, commercial lighting and large ponds. Here are a few examples of work we have completed for satisfied clients.

Like what you see?

Upgraded Lights

We met with our client to discuss upgrading their internal and external light fixtures. Our client wanted to keep the external fixtures modern but minimal so we decided to use IP rated graphite fixtures. Internally, our client wanted to enhance the features of the ceiling so we advised LED tape light placed in an aluminium profile would achieve the look they wanted. As you can see from the images, the lights to this property have enhanced its beauty and our clients are extremely happy.

UNDERFLOOR HEATING, INCLUDING DOG SAFETY

For this client, we lay underfloor heating in the kitchen and noticed that their dog was going to be sleeping in there. Being committed to 100% client satisfaction (and not wanting to overheat the family pet!) we made sure we left a gap big enough to fit beneath the dog’s bed but small enough to ensure the kitchen was still well heated.

external weather-proof socket

As we say, no job is too big or too small. Here’s an example of a smaller piece of work, an external weather-proof, double power socket.

Custom bay lighting control

We designed bespoke switch panel controls to enable an agricultural client to turn each lighting bay on/off individually. The previous panel system was complicated and controlled all bay lights together, so we simplified it for them. Now they can switch on a select group of bay lights for the area they are currently growing crops on.

POND PUMP & FILTER

After the unfortunate flood of their underground pond pump, a client’s pond filtration system had broken due to some of the electrical parts tripping. Whilst fixing this, the client also confided that they had no idea what all of the valves did. So, we spent some time finding out all of their uses, labelled them up and issued the client with a copy of labelled photos, too.

EV Charger Unit

Our client wanted to have an EV charger unit installed to their property and approached us for advice on what requirements they would need to be aware of in order to help them source the perfect EV charger unit. Following our advice, our client purchased the perfect EV charger unit for their property which is very sleek and has a modern design and we installed it for them along with the surge protection device.

Loft Lights

Our client wanted some lights installing in his loft space so we installed twin LED light battens and a light switch that was placed next to the loft hatch. Our client is very happy with the spread of light to the whole loft space.

fire rated LED tilt downlights

Our client recently had a kitchen extension which seemed too dark for them even with downlights in the ceiling. We discussed a few options and went with the choice of adding some additional lighting to the side of the RSJ, we used fire rated tilt LED lights to enable the client to direct the light to their own liking. A simple and perfect solution for this very happy client.

Fire rated LEd downlights to upvc clad ceiling

These pictures are shown in reverse from completion, mid and beginning. This client worked well with us because we needed to prepare the original ceiling beforehand by coring holes and adding the new cables for the required downlights before their new UPVC cladding was installed. Measurement was the key to this because we were not able to see the preparation works after the UPVC cladding was installed. As you can see from the pictures, this client now has a stunning ceiling and are over the moon with it.

Double Fuse board upgrade

Our client’s property required an upgrade to their dated fuse boards to bring it up to, and adhere to the latest wiring regulations with metallic twin RCD fuse boards. Whilst changing the boards we rectified a fault within the socket circuit which the clients were unaware of. We are happy to say our clients property now meets the wiring regulations and is much safer.

led lighting added to salon shelving

Keeley wanted to add LED lighting to her nail polish display shelves in her salon, we worked through various options and decided to place the cables in to the wall to have the most stunning effect for her. Keeley was extremely happy with the unveiling of the shelves and couldn’t wait to set up her display of nail polish.

installation of downlights to a new build

The owners of this property wanted us to remove the existing 6” light pendant/roses and install downlights to the whole property before they moved in, this was a brilliant job to work on and the owners were extremely happy with the difference the lighting was in comparison to the original lighting that was installed.

Dimmer Switch added to Downlights

We had previously installed LED downlights to this clients kitchen and we were asked at a later date if it would be possible to add a dimmer switch to the downlights, we added the dimmer switch and the clients were happy they were able to dim the lights to suit the mood.

Driveway lights

Our client had a very long dark driveway and wanted to make it more secure by adding lights to the whole driveway, our client chose his own light fixtures and we installed them for him. Our client is very impressed with his newly lit driveway and kindly sent us some images of it lit up at night which we have added below to show how stunning his driveway looks when illuminated.

White External Security Lights

Our clients have recently had new doors installed and wanted to change the old external security lights to white ones. We very rarely install white security lights so I have added photos of them to our website for others to see how amazing they look against the soffit and the doors. I have also added photos of the old lights to show that adding new light fittings can transform the look of a property.

Additional sockets

We installed two additional sockets to this clients office so she no longer has to use an extension cable, this office is now much safer with no trip hazards.

ELECTRICITY supply to a summer house/workshop

Our client had recently built a beautiful summer house which will also double up as a workshop. We discussed the electrical requirements together regarding which electrics would best suit the summer house/workshop and decided to installed a fuse board, an internal light and sockets including a USB socket. We also installed an external IP rated weatherproof socket with all of the cables safely installed in to white conduit.

Tree Illumination

Our clients wanted to make their beautiful cherry tree a feature in their garden without causing harm to the wildlife. We chose a 10w solar flood light which has a timer on it rather than being on constantly through the night. Our clients were extremely happy and kindly sent us an image of their tree illuminated and it looks perfect.

Garden & Driveway Lights

Our clients wanted to brighten up their garden and driveway so we installed some brushed steel up/down lights to the garden and a 20w floodlight to the driveway. The up/down lights give a beautiful glow of light in the evening and the floodlight to the drive makes it easier for the client to park and feel safe on dark evenings.

Electric Supply for a hot tub install

Our client was having a new hot tub and the hot tub supplier required the electrical supply to be installed by an NIC EIC registered electrician so we installed the electricity supply in preparation for the hot tub installers.

Decking Lights

Our client wanted to illuminate the decking posts to the edge of their lake. We installed IP rated recessed ground lights to each post which are controlled by a Quinetic wireless switch. The lights illuminate the posts and the lake beautifully.
